MAP 1.0.1
Get set up.
Stay in control.
Choose the platform that fits your server, then complete first-run setup and connect the services you already use.
Windows and Linux installers do not configure your public domain, HTTPS or firewall. Keep the first-run page private until your access is secured.
01 / WINDOWS X64
Install on Windows
- Download the Windows installer ↗. It is unsigned.
- Run the EXE as administrator. For a fresh interactive install, choose SQLite or an existing Microsoft SQL Server or PostgreSQL database. External databases must be prepared first.
- On the installed computer, open
http://localhost:8099 and follow first-run setup.
Updating? Back up the complete data folder first, including the database, configuration and encryption key. Run the installer over the existing installation; it preserves your current database choice.
02 / UBUNTU 24.04 X64
Install on Linux
- Download the Linux archive ↗. You need systemd and CPython 3.12.
- Extract the archive, open a terminal in its directory, and run
sudo bash install.sh. - On the installed computer, open
http://localhost:8099 and follow first-run setup.
Back up the complete data folder before updating an existing installation.
03 / UMBRELOS COMMUNITY PREVIEW
Install on Umbrel
- In umbrelOS, open App Store → Community App Stores and add the MAP community store ↗.
- Open MAP in that store and install it. Launch the app from Umbrel.
- Unlock first-run setup with username
owner and the app password shown by Umbrel. Create your permanent owner account and enrol MFA.
This community preview is separate from the official Umbrel App Store. Default Umbrel authentication protects every route, so public invitations and external payment callbacks are not supported by this configuration. Use test integrations only.
